| | Abstract: | The invention solves the problem of providing novel therapies that are effective in the treatment of muscular dystrophies, using compositions comprising a compound that can reduce the expression of miRNA-106b in the satellite cells of the muscle of a human or animal subject in relation to that observed in the absence of the compound in said cells.
